What is Tribune Labs?

Tribune Labs is a platform for cutting-edge, digital storytelling; a place new age media meets old-school journalistic standards.

We aim to cover long, in-depth, interactive and data-driven pieces intended to make an impact on readers – whether personally or on the course of policy-making.

We’re using this platform to experiment with tools to add value to stories that matter. We want each of our stories, which may be worked on for months, to set off debates, discussions and perhaps even to inspire awe.

Our journey started in 2013 with a story on the contenders for the next army chief – a prequel to our masterpiece on General Ashfaque Pervaiz Kayani. Along the lines, we’ve covered stories ranging from data-driven pieces on foreign debt to Karachi’s water crisis.

Our projects are ambitious and our goal is simple: to introduce our readers to the endless possibilities in the world of digital storytelling.
